Every morning I try to start the my vehicle, I have can not get it to start. I have to take off the air intake and I have to spray starter fluid into it. Recently now it has moved to every time I shut off my vehicle if I wait more than 45 mins to restart it, I have to have my wife sit in the car while I spray starter fluid in the air intake while she is turning the key to get it started, I have changed the plugs, I have changed the wires, checked the battery, tried to test and see if it is the injectors by reving the engine while driving down the road to see if it sputters or bogs down but nothing. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS WRONG

Mine is doing the EXACT same thing. I replaced everything, but still (Like just today), I'm trying to start my car but it cranks and cranks. Last time I had that problem it was a loose connection under the car. There is a nut behind the transmission that holds a Grounding wire. If it even comes loose a little bit, she won't start.

Check the connections under the car. If she still doesn't, I'm thinking (Like with my own) that it's the Starter Relay going out.

If the car cranks but doesn't start, it won't be the starter. However, the Relay sits right ontop of the Starter on my '91 Sunbird.

If the car cranks and then just starts ticking, that is a loose connection with the ground of the battery. Usually located in the rear of the starter, where several grounding wires are connected.

I have 208,000 miles on my car. So I know how ya feel.
