Car will not start

When I turn key to start car, nothing. No instrument panel lights, no sign of life at all. I had battery checked and it is good.

Follow the smaller negative battery wire to the body sheet metal and be sure that connection is tight and not rusty. Follow the smaller positive wire to see if it bolts to the under-hood fuse box. If it does, be sure that connection is clean and tight.

If those connections are okay, take some voltage readings on the fuses to see if they are all dead or if some have twelve volts. That will get us started in figuring out where to look next.
