My gas gage stopped marking and I need to know what it could be?

Either the gauge itself, a fuse, or the sender in the tank.
Check fuse first. Then jack up car and unplug connector at fuel punp assy. And measure resistance on sender, if it has low resistance 0-10 ohms and the tank is full, it is probably the sender.
A dealer would have equipment to isolate the problem.
