2001 Pontiac Grand Prix Does the "service engie soon&a

I have a 01 pontiac grand prix gt and the service engine soon light has been on,we had it scanned and found out it was the MAF sensor. We cleaned the sensor and the light went off on it's on. My question is do we need the computer reset before we take it for an emission's test even though the light went off on its on?

No. The computer resets the light and clears itself after the right number of drive cycles completes, in your case it has!

you will have to stert by checking the ignition system. check for spark when it doesnt run and get bqack to us
