I have a 2000 grand am se and it is over heating we can not find out what it is can u tell me what to look for

You could have a bad thermostat not opening. When your engine gets hot are both your upper and lower radiator hose's getting hot?You could have a bad coolant temp sensor. You could have a blocked radiator with sand, debris, or even a bag. Does your radiator fan come on when its over heating?Let me know.
