2000 Pontiac Grand Am Car stops in the middle of driving

What should we be looking for if the car stops at about 20 minutes into driving it? The engine cuts out and it will turn over but won't start back up.

Hello, can you check for codes? Can you do some of the basic tests? Have a helper crank it, while you check for spark at the plugs. Can you check for injector pulse, with the engine cranking?

I realize if you have the IDI ignition system, the plugs may be awkward to get at. If the electrical connectors for the ignition module are accessible, you can do some testing, there.
