If my engine is cold it starts right up and runs great. If I try to start it while it is warm it will start and immediately die. To get it started I half to crank until it starts then throttle it up for approx. 3-5 seconds then it usually stays running. Is this a fuel injector issue, or where should I start.

Hello, I'm Danny.

It sounds like you may be having a fuel pressure issue. You might have a weak or failing fuel pump that is not providing adequate fuel pressure causing this issue. I would first suggest performing a fuel pressure test. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved for a fuel pressure test:

If you don't have access to a fuel pressure tester most auto parts store have a tool loaner program and can rent you one. The fuel pressure specification for your Grand Am is 41-47 PSI. with the key on. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
