Last September I bought a new alternator and just recently, my battery went bad and the car wouldn't start. I bought a new battery and put it in. The alternator is less than a year old and the battery light already came on two days after I put the new battery in. Do you think its the alternator even though its less than a year old?

You should check the battery voltage when the car is running. It should be around 13.8-14.5 volts

I just bought the battery yesterday though and have only driven it twice since then. The battery light shouldn't be coming on already. I've read a lot of posts on here about the battery light coming on, then the alternator going back. Also, people say you shouldn't buy from autozone, but thats where I got the alternator last September.
