No power when excellerating, now will start but runs very rough, and if you turn off the car wont start

Is there a sevice engine light on in the instrument panel? If you are near an auto zone they will hook a scan tool to your car for free and tell you what codes are stored in the PCM. Then repost here with what codes if any they are able to retrieve.
