I have recently changed the Thermostat because of overheating. My vehicle is still overheating. I tested the thermostat before installing it. After installing it, it is still overheating. I know there is air in the system. How do I get it out. I did find the bleed pipe. I took it off and there is no coolant coming out. I need help on this problem I am having If there are any suggestions you could give me it would be greatly appreciated!

As far as overheating, did you do any testing? Did you test the old thermostat? I have jacked up front ends, trying to get the rad cap higher than the motor, leave the cap off and run the engine, maybe the trapped air will circulate out.

If you use jackstands, do it safely, I'm not sure that's possible. Your water pump is working, correct?
