Hey, I took the starter off and then the knock sensor, but the coolant I forgot to drain got all over the wireing harness/starter grounds. So I let it drain, put sensor back in, and starter back on. Now when I am connecting the bat. Terminals there is a big spark everytime. The coolant also got on the neg ground to engine from battery, I was wondering what could be making the battery do this, and how can I fix the problem? Thanks alot, I appreciate it!

Check that you have not hooked up an earth to the starter pos terminal, wet electrics should not cause this problem.

I have indeed checked this ground on the starter, there seems to be no mistake, could anything else cause this to happen? There is no electrical devices on.

I would un do the starter electrical terminals and make them safe, then try the battery again, this will show if it is indeed the starter causing the problem.

You will have to pull all the fuses one at a time and any fusible links to isolate the problem circuit.
