starts and stalls several times for about 10 minutes before it starts up, then idles fine and stays running except once in while comming to a stop after fisrt taking off after start up it will stall, but start up quick and run fine. Untill it is shut off and sits for a while (several hours) then I have to run through the routine every time to get started and running,
unless it sits for a few minutes it takes less time to get it started and running.
I have replaced.
1. Fuel pump
2. Fuel filter
3. Camshaft sensor
4. Crankshaft sensor
5. Ignition coil
6. PCM was checked out and replaced but was fine.
7. Plugs & wires
8. Cleaned throttle body and new air filter
9 rubber o ring.
after all this it still takes this routine to get running, so I took it to an Auto repair shop they looked at it, advised it has fuel presure, spark, and compression everything is ok with PCM and crank and cam.
Mechanic advised they did not know what else to do and advised me take it to a dealership for intermediate electrical repair. They did not charge me for the work they did with checking it and the PCM.
How many senosrs do I have to replace to get to the right one? Also the service engine light would come on I would fix what code it read (PCM, ignition coil, crank and camshaft senor) and a different one would come up there after?
after internet searches Im not the only one with this problem but there are alot of different answers.
I'm now looking at checking the idle air control, pcv, fuel pump relay.
Why does this model do this?
Is it something easliy fixed or do I have to dump $85.00 and hour at dealership for and easy unknown fix?
