Do this transmission have a modular valve or is there something to change to help the transmission to shift gears.

I have changed the fluid and filter. Before changing the transmission. Is there anything I can do to make the transmission start shifting. It stays in one gear. It will go up to 60 plus miles per hour. It just want shift into a another gear. This makes the RPM run at around 4000 plus rpms.

Limp-in mode is the attempt by PCM to compensate for failure of certain components by substituting information from other sources so that vehicle can still be operated

vehicle should NOT be driven for extended periods in limp-in mode.
