Before you assume that the pump is bad, make sure that the fuel pump relay is working. When you first turn the key on, can you hear the pump turning on?

Fuel pump is in the fuel tank. Relieve fuel pressure, remove 2 straps that are holding the tank up, on top of the tank, unplug the connector and make sure you have power to the connector. If you do, remove the ring that is holding the fuel pump in place, and pull the pump out. Install is reverse.
