1999 Plymouth Breeze Car wont start also wont take a charge

Engine Performance problem
1999 Plymouth Breeze 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1999 plymouth breeze, my girlfriend went to start it and nothing, didnt attempt to turn over. I went down to try it, same thing. Lights were on before I turn the key then nothing after that. I checked the connections to the battery and alt. Then tried it again, samething. So I tried to jump the car, wouldnt take a charge, battery is in good shape no corosion on the battery. So I am stuck! What do I do? I have no idea where to start, any suggestions?

If you have no power to anything, I would start by checking to make sure the battery cables are good, and the ground wire to the engine block is clean and tight. If they look good, open the power distribution box and check the fuses in there.
