Mechanical issues, where to start

Please help me decide which I should get fixed first by importance.

1. Front brakes $100.00.
2. Valve cover gasket $350.00 good for 1 week.
3. Lower control arm $225.00 each (2x).
5. Back brakes $100.00 good for 1 month.
6. Motor mount $90.00.


Please help me decide, I don’t have money for everything right now only about one or two of the items listed .

I would opt for the brakes first, the rest of the parts are not going to be important if you cannot stop the car. Next would be the control arms, then the valve cover and finally the mount.
That said what is the issue with the control arms, valve cover gasket and the mount? The reasons may change the order of repair for those items. Also who gave you the list of bad items?
