I had pulled out my FCM and cleaned it up and put it back in and I got my lights to work again, and I had one low beam that was turned off kept saying it was a short, but I put it back in. It didn’t have a problem when I put them put the fuse box back in its position there, I know so I came back I didn’t have the door locks. I didn’t have the radio, or the interior light and I don’t have the remote on my Car, I figured maybe the FCM had to be flashed so I went to my mechanic to find out that the Obd ii scanner in the car has no power. So, he can’t run the diagnostic and I believe that that OBD is on the same line as my remote control. My dome lights my radio trying to figure out where it’s at when I turn the key I powered except for the radio. I tested all the fuses, and they all are good. I have power to fuse 51. I also tested below the connector in the wire about five or 6 inches down. I got power to both sides of where I believe to c1 connector. Just want to make sure that the fuse 51 is the one that controls the power for when the vehicle is on the off position and that it’s on the C1 connector your help would be appreciated.

Fuse #51 goes to the data link connector, radio, hands free module, cluster and the under hood light. These trucks had problems with the IPM (TIPM) just to let you know. We have seen many go bad. Can you tell me if fuse 51 has power?

This guide can help:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-a-test-light-circuit-tester

Here is the wiring diagrams for fuse #51 and how to swap out the IPM in case you need it. Also I found the pin out for the 1 connector. The IPM is easy to replace because it self learns. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response to the problem so we can see what's going on.

Also, that’s a new Tippen I bought from Mopar probably about two years ago. It came with that guard on the bottom to keep the water out of those connectors. I’m assuming that is the is where I have the power for when the car is turned off because I don’t have door locks, I don’t have the light, I don’t have security and I don’t have the radio working in the car when the car is turned off.

Before I touched the forward control module, I had power to the door locks in the radio and an interior light. So, I’m wondering if one of the wires may have a bad pin or a break.

I would remove the IPM and look at the connector pins to see if any are corroded. Also inspect the wiring especially at the electrical connector plugs. If there are all okay I would replace the IPM.

So far everything on fcm is working.

Obd ii and interior, remote doorlocks and radio dont work. But when I put the key in ignition, everything works except the radio and the OBD I was wondering if you could tell me which connector on the vehicle that the wire for the OBD and for the remote door locks and security are on so I can test those wires because maybe in that connector is where the problem is
I appreciate your help so if you can give me the pin outs for C1 connector because that’s where I believe the wire for the OBD go to I was going to test that connector out to see if I have power coming out of that circuit.

And I’m being a pain in the rear end, but I’m just trying to find out on what connector that OBD is on and since I believe fuse 51 is the one that controls the OBD, the remote keys the dome light in the radio or wrong number 51 does that give you the power even when the ignition is off so I’m just trying to find out where the power goes into the fuse box so I can trace that connector and end those wires.
I thought it was on connector one but I do see a pink and brown wire picking gray wire, but I can’t look at that paper you sent me can’t decipher if it’s on that connector. Would you be able to tell me where that wire runs to so I can check out that connector because even with the keys off my headlights turn signals, they all work, body lights work, and when the key is on, then I have the power to the power locks the remote unlock. I have the interior lights I just don’t have the radio or the OBD too so I just need to know which wire go which wire goes to the fuse box that has constant power when the car is turned off and maybe also would wire the radio go goes to.

Do you have power at fuse 51? That is the fuse that runs the data port. Here are the wiring diagrams for the connector so you can see how it works. Also, check the ground as well on the left side of the dash. Let's see if we can get the scanner to work, it sounds like the IPM is bad to me.
