I recently acquired the car listed above DOHC. It is have several issues.
The first is about every fourth time I try to start it the engine will turn over but it will not start. If I completely turn off the key it starts right up.
The second issue is periodically it will try to stall when accelerating. If I let up on the accelerator some time it will not stall. This has only occurred after the engine is at normal temperature. When it does stall the check transmission message comes on.
The last issue is that when idling and at operating temperature. The low oil pressure warning goes off. If I increase the RPM's that warning stops.
The check engine light is not on but I am getting codes P0743, P0202 and P0205.

Hello,

It sounds like you have two shorted injectors causing the issue on #2 and #5 cylinders. But to be sure lets remove them for testing by following these guides.

Please run down these guides and report back.
