I pulled the fuses for both sides driver side cut off, but not passenger side as passenger side was twice as bright as the other side. I smelled like rubber burning I think. Can’t find a short anywhere. What all can make it do this? Thanks. Already got a new delay didn’t work. Thanks !

This is most likely a short but it could also be an issue with the BCM. The switch is an input to the BCM and then the BCM sends the power to the lights so we can assume the BCM is sending power to these lights. This means we need to know if the switch is the issue or there is a short/BCM issue.

When you unplug the switch do the lights go out? If so, I suspect you have a switch issue. If not then the issue is from the BCM to the lights. This means we need to unplug the BCM and test continuity between the light signal wire and all the others. There should be no continuity and if there is not then the BCM is the likely issue.
