I have a parasitic drain on my truck listed above 186 mv and I think i traced it to GEM module.

How can I test the module or what happens on the circuit board? I think I have two parasitic drains. one on the battery saver relay and the other on the lamp relay

No power windows or door lock or keyless entry.

Hi,

As far as testing the GEM, the can-bus needs scanned. CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, all computers/modules are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will retrieve codes related to the GEM. These codes will likely start with a B and not the traditional P.

Here is a video showing how this procedure is done:

Let me know if that is something you can have done. Also, as far as the module, there is a printed circuit board in it which can fail.

Take care and let me know.
