Hello,

2 days ago, I cleaned the engine with the WD-40 machine & engine degreaser foaming spray.

The next morning, as usual, I kept the engine idling before driving off to work, everything went well.

Then on my way to work, about 6miles away from home, the check engine line lights up and the engine starts to stall, feels like it's running out of gas. It continues to run but at much slower speed (25MPH) and chokes up when I press on the gas pedal.

I drove back home and checked the engine with my OBDII which showed P1326 glow relay short.

I erased the code and drove the car around the neighborhood. The engine ran normally as before.

Today, exactly the same thing happened again on my way to work.

Could the engine degreaser foam spray cause the problem?

Kindly advise.

Thank you.

The P1326 code is related to the Knock Sensor Detection System (KSDS) So it sounds like you got moisture inside the electrical connector, Here is the location of the sensor so you can check it out, also, clear the codes once the connector is dry and clean. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
