I have a 92 oldsmobile 98 regency. The past few weeks my headlights only work intermittently. On my dash it says that my lights are on and when I turn the switch it dings as if they are on but only my parking lights work constantly. Any ideas as to why this could be happening?

you may have to turn to your DMM and a wiring diagrams to isolate this problem.
Intermittent operation of headlights can be cause by an connection issues with switches, fire wall bulkhead connectors, in-line connectors, head lamp connector, fuse,or relay blocks.
check also for weak circuiy breakers
problems with head lamp relays, short causing circuit breaker shutdown, bulb problems, faulty relay.
