To be honest, I am not sure what exactly is wrong with it. Either way, that little fan works for me. Anyway, what do you think of my idea to try to find a way through the air ducts? Or is another one of my ideas dumb :D

Just do what you want to do to be comfortable-go thru the firewall if you have to or the deck to get that wire to the battery.

I knew that Hippo would give me nightmares!

You have to becareful how you get that fed through.
I don't see how you'll get it through the ductwork w/o creating problems. There are flaps or valves that control air flow in there as well the blower motor, heater core etc.

YOU HAVE to be sure that you don't hit anything going through.

Look at the line you want to feed through, when you think you have the right size bit, drill it into a piece of plywood as a test to make sure it will fit.
It may be obvious, but I don't know what you have.

My Hippo informed me to drill the deck and all ducting be done with PVC piping w/No.12 awg wire straight to the power source and seal properly with ABS glue or caulking to prevent Mississippi River coming in.

Kid we've given you a lot of advises and they are good ones take the shot-we have to leave pretty soon cuz we got places to go within this website auto forums that has 911 situation.
