1994 Other Oldsmobile Models car wont start

Engine Mechanical problem
1994 Other Oldsmobile Models 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 120k+ miles

Went to my car to leave and it didnt start, turned key and a low click, 3 times came from somewhere in the middle of my engine. Three days later I went to start my car and it started. I turned my car off and tried to restart it and it hasnt started since. I've only changed the ignition switch and still, nothing. I'm 20yrs old and this is my first car, I'd like to learn how to do it myself and of coarse with help from you. Thanx
