Welcome to the forum. I'd have to make sure the battery has a full charge and the connections are good. Can you tell if there is a load on the starter circuit, with the key in the crank position? Watch the lites, dash lites--dome lite, they should react if there is a load on the starter circuit, go dim, go out, something. If they stay bright and don't react, suspect open circuit to starter. If manual tranny, maybe a clutch switch, automatic maybe neutral switch. The purple wire at solenoid should be hot with key in start position. If testing, make sure it isn't in gear. Set the e-brake.
