I am having problems with my car, sometimes it will start and sometimes it won't. When it won't start I am not getting any fuel from the Schrader valve because the fuel pump doesn't prime, but I have just replaced the fuel pump and fuel injectors thinking that was the problem. I don't want to keep changing parts. In order for me to get it to start I must put carburetor cleaner, starting fluid, or gas whichever I decide that day and put it directly into the throttle body and then fire it up give it gas and then it runs fine. I have done this also after it not starting and leaving the key in the on position and it will it start every time with no fuel pump cycling.

We need to start by checking the fuel pressure when this is happening.

Here is a guide that will help with this:

Clearly, we have a fuel related issue so even though you replaced the pump we still need to find out if we are losing pressure somewhere or not getting enough pressure from this replacement pump.

I attached the spec below so let's start with checking the pressure and then we can determine the next steps.

Please let us know what questions you have, and we can go from there. Thanks
