We have replaced fuel pump, the catalitic converter has been checked, spelling check there, not sure if that is how to spell that word.
oxygen sensor has been taken off and we drove the car for two days and it did alot better and only died a few times verses a whole lot. Going up hills it would seem to smother down and want to die more so.
someone told me it might be a fuel pressure regulator?
it uses way to much gasoline, we are going to put the o2 sensor back on there but while it was off the vehicle, it drove so much better as I said, and thought that was the prob. But today it has started right back over again with the engine dying. It seems to be flooding out, you can smell it from the engine. Please if you know what this is. Please help me.
thank you so much!

The fuel pressure regulator is a very good possibility, however, the injectors themselves need to be checked. The o rings may need replacement. Because of leakage, hence the gas smell and flooding
