1991 Oldsmobile 98 Car stalls out of no where.

My car drives great. But recently has started to randomly stall out of nowhere and then it will start right back up. The other day I couldn't get it to start at all, then after a few tries, it started and ran fine. Any ideas?

When it stalls, is it at an idle or while driving? Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks or the fuel pump pressure?

I also have a 91 olds 98 elite with a 3.8 engine. The car does the same thing as your driving down the road it stalls out. No engine noises and car runs fine up till this point.I have to let it sit for awhile before it will start back up.I am an automotive tech with about 15 years exp.I am about to put a crankshaft position sensor in the vehicle because I think thats what is causing it to stall. Will let ya know if that fixes this problem
