June we changed front main seal. August we had to get it fixed again. Now last few weeks it started leaking again. Why is it continuing to leak? Is there something else I should be looking at? Thank you!

Hello,

Yes, it sounds like the engine is not ventilating or the engine is overfilled with oil causing the front seal to go out. Please check the engine oil level and here are diagrams to help you replace the PCV valve below. Try replacing the valve before getting the seal fixed if it is leaking slightly. If it is pouring the seal will need to be redone. If they are not allowing the sealer to fully dry (at least one full day) it will leak as well. Here are diagrams to help you see how to do the job yourself.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

Thank you! I will try changing the PCV valve and see what happens. Will let you know in a few months if it starts leaking again.
