When you turn the key to on position, it should run self test than stop than you vehicle will start. When I turn the key to on, fuel pump keeps running, fan also runs and injectors keep pulsating. Will crank. Relay in BCM keeps clicking, I have tried another BCM from a running car still nothing. Have to keep spark plugs out so not to hydro lock engine. Any ideas what I should do next.

Have you run a diagnostic scan? If not do this and post what codes you have. Start here.

Hello,

It sounds like one of your injectors is shorted causing the injector driver in the ECM to malfunction. Try unplugging all of the injectors and then plug them in one at a time to see what happens.

Here is a test to help as well.

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

Thursday evening, it started ran fine drove it for a couple hrs no problems. Got back to the house started to shut it off, it shut down started doing the same thing. I've unplugged all injectors, pulled fuse for fuel pump, plugged them back in one at a time. Got to 5, 6 and 7 when I plugged them in all injectors started pulsating. I can unplug them the rest stops, still have relay in BCM clicking with all unplugged.

I'm looking for a 302 or 289 to put in this car if I can't find the problem. Go back to old school that's what I'm the best with. If I do find the problem I will post it to let you all know.
