Changed starter, valve cover gaskets, auxiliary water pump plugs, coils, oil and oil filter. But car cranks no start. Tested battery with multi-meter and it's at 11.3 volts. What do I do?

Hello,

It sounds to me like your problem might be the battery. Your battery should be 12.6 volts. A vehicle battery consists of six cells. Each cell holds 2.1 volts fully charged. If you measure a battery with a multi-meter 12.6 volts is fully charged, 12.45 volts id 75% charged, 12.3 volts is 50% charged, 12.15 volts is 25% charged and 12 volts are less is dead. Sounds a little weird, I know, but that is what I was taught by North American Honda when going through their university to be a factory trained technician.
You can put your battery on a charger yourself if you have one or, if not, you can take it to your local parts house and they will test it and charge it for you for free. I have included a few links for you o go to as well:

Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out, please.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello again,

Is this a DTC code? If it is it should have a letter followed by four numbers. Could you double check the DTC for me again, please

Thanks,
Alex

DTC? Scanner said refer to manufacturers guide which it then told me it was a communication error between ECM and TCM. Also when I turn the key all the way to the on position and check under the hood right to the left of the electronic throttle body there is a noise coming from I think it's called intake manifold Runner control it's like it's cycling every fifteen to thirty seconds I don't believe it was doing this before. It seems like it's opening and closing the flappers in the throttle body. Does this have anything to do with my problems. Thank you for taking time out to help me with this issue I'm trying to help a friend of mine with this car I have nothing but problems with it and I am not electronically strong-minded so to speak explaining this feel free to dumb it down for me LOL thanks again. Side note: I also checked fuses under the hood an interesting Lee enough I'm not getting any power to fuses pertaining to Headlights seems odd I will try or where I to get a picture and circle fuses that my test light does not light up on when the key is in the on position.

Hello again,

Check Ground #104 on the right front corner of the vehicle. I have included a wiring diagram for the Headlamp Circuit in the diagrams down below. Check the ground and the ground wire for unwanted corrosion. Make sure that the ground is clean, corrosion free, tight, and making a good metal to metal contact. Get back to us with what you find out please.

Thanks,
Alex
