Welcome back:

You mentioned that the lights only dim for a second. Do they return to normal only after you release the key from the start position or can you hold it in the start position and they still return to normal?

Also, I attached a portion of the starting system schematic. I circled thing I need you to check.

Here is a link you may find helpful:

Let me know what you find.

There is a constant power to the starter but no power to the smaller terminal when turning the key.

Welcome back:

We now need to back track. Have you checked the fuses and relays I mentioned?

Hi,

If there is another relay in the box with the same part number, switch them. Or, here is a link that shows how it's done:

Okay, I am so sorry I took so long. The relays seem to be good. I switched them out and still nothing. Also a correction to the lights thing, the lights turn completely off for like a second and go back on instantly after. I also really don't know how to check the neutral safety switch.

Hi,

No problem on the delay. If the lights go out and then come back on, it isn't the safety switch. Something is causing a power loss. Most commonly a bad ground at the engine or at the battery. Are you certain the starter isn't getting power via the smaller wire connected to the S terminal on the starter? It will only get power when the key is in the start position.
