no power to the head unit stereo wiring?

My husband has a 1994 nissan sentra it had an older pioneer cd unit in it that finally gave out so i got him a kenwood and put it in but nothing happened. Ive installed atleast 10 stereos in my life its pretty self explanatory. The fuses were all still good, i had the deck tested and it was still good. So im wondering if the wiring is bad because the other stereo would lose connection sometimes i figured it was just old.

Since then someone cut the plug out of the car so i hard wired it and still nothing. Please help
