Intermittent no crank?

Sporadically, my truck will not crank. There doesn't seem to be much of a pattern. If I disconnect the battery for a few minutes to a full day and then reconnect it, it will crank and start and run for a matter of seconds before shutting off and then won't crank again. If I replace the battery with a fully charged battery right off my trickle charger it will start and run no problem but then the next day is hit or miss whether it will crank or not. If it does crank on the second day, then the issue will stay away until the truck sits for too long (3 days) and the battery drains. Then I'm back to replacing the battery with a fully charged battery and hoping it works the second day.

This sounds like the starter or starter relay is worn and starting to fail but to be sure let use a test light to see if the trigger wire is getting power while in the crank position. This guide can help us:

Here is the location of the starter relay and how to change out the starter motor in the images below in case you need to change them out. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
