I checked out everything I got from this thread. So yes, I checked it out but in my defense, I responded that I wasn’t getting any fire on the little wire awhile back. Ken, I have recently got my wife home from the hospital after triple bypass, my dog was hit by a car and his back legs are, well I’ve got everything under control now so hopefully I can respond to you better than I have in the past. So, on we go Thanks

No, there is no power on the trigger wire. Ken may I ask why you have not been in touch with me for almost a week, Joe told me this car has security on it I stated that it did not, when we bought the car in 07-08 all we received was a key I thought if it had security we would have a FOB on the key. I have since learned the key has a chip in it, which is part of the security, I learned something thanks to Joe. I wonder why ya'll have quit corresponding with me thought you were going to help?

Hey Joe, got the car running, it was a simple fix. Didn't require any parts! Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for helping me.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. I have to apologize. I'm working three jobs presently and had to leave Ken by himself for some time. I feel he has been overwhelmed with keeping up. So, I do apologize for the delays. That isn't our normal process. LOL

Regardless, I'm glad you got it going. What ended up being the issue? I'm interested in knowing.

Don't really know what the specific problem was (is). I asked someone if the ignition key had a chip in it and said yes, and asked me what the problem was, told him it wouldn't crank, he came to the house and stuck the key in the driver's door locked and unlocked it. Believe it or not it started and has been starting every day since. There are still problems still no power to the DLC no HVAC or a blower motor, interior lights aren't working either Ken sent me a video that had me wondering whether the length of time it sat and periodically battery going completely dead, recharging may have played a part in it not starting. But prior to contacting you guys, I had started it three times and then nothing If nothing else this has been a learning experience for me. I would appreciate any input I really would like to get this vehicle road ready, and if it's any consolation I'm keeping the car.

Hi,

You are not bother me at all. Due to the economy, I am working multiple jobs. I just finally had a chance to get online, not for the first time in a few days. It's 2:15 AM here. LOL

As far as the key, using it to lock and unlock the door is a typical procedure for resetting or turning off the alarm/system. Has it continued working properly?

Yes sir, starts up every time, but I still don’t have power to the DLC or A/C, radio, or interior lighting.
