valves

i got a 1995 nissan truck. 115000 miles, 3.0 v-6, auto. i just changed the timing belt. it runs good and doesnt miss a beat. the gas milege kinda sucks, and i here a lifter or valve clicking alittle bit on the left side. do i need to adjust the valves, or is it normal. and if i adjust them what is the gap?

You can tighten the Rocker arm nuts and pivot locknuts at 12-16ft lbs. don't work change the lifters.

BTW they do make noises at that age.
