The fix I put in is still holding for a month. No check engine light, no fault code for 4+ weeks now. The 2 orange rubber gaskets (showed in the picture earlier) sealed the canister hole and cracks, I did not have to use super glue.
The new EVAP canister solenoid I ordered from an online store did not hold a vacuum. I sent it back. The 2nd replacement solenoid would not hold a vacuum either, so I had to mail it back again! While I was mailing back and forth the new solenoids, I managed to fix the old EVAP solenoid by spraying transmission oil inside and then de-greasing with brake cleaner fluid. The old original Nissan solenoid holds vacuum very well now. But earlier it was stuck in open position due to rust. When energized, the rust won't allow the plunger to move at all. Transmission oil treatment fixed it.
The EVAP solenoid is held onto the canister by one bolt and the rubber gasket now. It is working fine. BTW, I also put in a new gas tank cap. All fault codes are gone for 4+ weeks now. Thanks for your help.

Hello again,

I am so happy to hear that. Ou did an outstanding job, and you're well on your way to being a fine mechanic. Remember, there are only so many ways to get things done, learn these and you can fix just about anything. Please, if you need any reference materials for a vehicle, we are your library, so don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks,
Alex
