We have a 1995 Nissan Sentra GXE AT. Last week I started it up and it died. Now, it won't start at all. The engine will turn over but will not start. We have replaced the distributor and checked the relays with an ohlms meter. We have also checked the fuses. The crank sensor is good but has no power to it. We purchased a used computer but that didn't help either. Do you think we need to purchase a pocketscan code reader to help us try to diagnosis this problem? We really don't have the money to take it to a dealer. We would appreciate any information that you could give us.

Couple of questions:

do you have an spark on the sparkplugs?
Disconnect one wire and insert an screwdriver in to it and carefull get it close to an any metal part of your engine, it should be a "spark" coming out from the ground to your screwdriver.
Did you "hear" the gas pump start?
(un-cap the gas tank and crnk the engine, you should hear it start

Manuel.
