Bought a new battery 2 years ago, died on my today. When I brought it to the autopart shop where I bought it, the clerk tested it and said it was not charged and couldn't tell whether it was good or bad. Had to go to work and can't wait an hour for it to be charged. So bought another new battery. Could anyone tell me why the old one was not charged? Thanks.

Dave,

Thanks and changed the alternator -- cost over $300.
