Some history: I have taken the car to a auto repair shop for some repairs. After I got the car back the airbag light is blinking and the horn does not work. The shop told me the clockspring needed replacing to fix the airbag light. They replaced the clockspring but the light is still blinking. For the horn, the relay, fuse, and horns are ok. Now they want to replace the steering column. All of this has been no cost to me except time and scheduling of the repairs (4 trips now). I'm not sure they know how to fix the issue.
Question: Would a replacement of the steering column correct my horn and airbag issues?
Concerned,
