2001 Nissan Pathfinder Rough Start and acceleration issues

P0171 shows up sometimes when driving above 50mph.

Also, when starting the engine, it engine goes to 1500rpm for 3-5 seconds, then drops to 900-1000 rpm and the car shakes for about 10-15 seconds. After that the RPMs return to about 1200rpm.

If I do not wait for the car to "warm up", when I accelerate the RPMs jump back and forth from 3000 to 1000 and the acceleration also jumps. Sometimes the engine also stalls at this point.

I have used MAF sensor cleaner twice and ran a can of seafoam in the gas tank. Also since the issues started I replaced the fuel damper, fuel pressure regulator, and air filter.

Hi I had the same problem, 2001 pathfinder, they replace the fuel coil and it runs much better, I was also showing the same code. We also suspect a timeing chain problem, even though it is running much better, it's still underpowered on hills.
