I've exhausted everything I can think of to correct this. Whether the A/C button is illuminated or not, the vents still blow cold air, and the "pull" on the engine is still noticable. Gas mileage is horrible with the A/C on, especially with winter coming. Any suggestions???

Unplug the connector at your A/C compressor, if it turn's off, you have a electrical problem. If it doesn't, you will need to replace your A/C clutch.
