My service engine light went on about 3 weeks ago. Yesterday it went out. I know this sometimes happens when the gas cap is not on securely but it had never stayed on for this long. Is this something to be worried about?

I have a '99 Nissan Altima with about 152,000 miles.

You have an intermittent OBD2 code/s-have it scan to find out what it is-that's if it shows up
