Have oil leak from rear of engine passenger side replaced valve cover, and oil pan gasket. I believe it's timing cover gasket labor at dealer is 8 hours at 85.00 an hour.
Could this be the problem? And is it a seal or gasket? And how hard is it to due? Some tell me you can replace it removing motor mount and lifting to engine and removing oil pan and valve cover.

If it is coming from the passenger side, it is most likely will be either camshaft seal(s) or the crankshaft seal. They are all parts of the timing cover gasket set.

This is a common oil leak. There is a o ring seal between the engine block and timming chain cover and regular sealant around the perimeter of the cover. No gasket. You do have to lift the engine to remove oil pan.
