1995 Nissan Altima car boges out and wont rev up

My car will start up and every thing but when I hit the gas it boges way down and wont rev up it just wants to die

Chances are you have a bad fuel pump, or a plugged fuel filter.

You may even have a plugged exhaust system due to a bad catalytic converter.
Will it increase idle if you slowly give it gas?
