1989 Nissan 240SX 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

how do I get the air out if the radiator of my car. I just put a new radiator and thurmastat in and the car is still heating up. It seems to not hold water down in the rad, air just bubbles at the top I have tried running it with the cap off for quite some time now and still heats up. What could the problem be.

In the back of the motor on one of the heater hoes their was a flush cap that I hooked a hose up to and ran water threw till it was shooting out of the rad. That had got the air out so the water would stay in the rad.
