Shims behind the nut or the clutch? I don't have a clutch puller tool. And I just did a quick search and I don't think Advance sells shims for A/C compressors.

Once you remove the nut, the clutch comes off without a puller.
In your situation, you would need to remove shims, not add them.

You need a deep 6 point socket that is thin walled.

Chrome sockets are thin sockets.
I believe it is either a 14 or 15 mm nut.

Okay, nuts. That is one that is pressed on. It does not show it in my data.
There is a puller that screws into the clutch and pushes it off.
Okay, so got the clutch plate off with the tool. No spacers here. Pulley is held on with a snap ring I think.

So the scratching is definitely gone. But the compressor seems to go on/off at 2000 rpm. Is it supposed to do that? Can kind of feel it while driving, and doesn't affect the temperature
