Cranks but does not start

My car was fine I pulled up at my house went I side and came back out tried to leave and it wouldn't start. My security light blinks until I put the key in it then it stops. If the computer was bad would my security light blink at all?
I need help so bad, I'm no mechanic. I am pregnant and need to get to the doctor appointments and this is my only way to go. Please help!
