Idle adjustment

I purchased a Mitsubishi Mirage 1995, performed basic tune up recommendations but I need to adjust the idle on the engine. It turns off unless I depress the gas pedal. What is the best way to do this?

Before you do though, check for any vacuum leaks or breaks in the hose from the MAF to the throttle bore. Also try cleaning out the throttle bore around the butterfly with carb spray and a rag
