I have a 1992 3000GT VR4 that normally starts fine. Sometimes after parking, it will not start. No cranking but all lights and radio work. I know there is an inhibit swich on the clutch pedal arm and that appears to be fine. What I have found is that if I roll the car enough to be able to drop the clutch in gear and turn the motor internally, it will crank and start every time. This seems to be something in the motor such that if it stops in a certain position, it will not start.
Does anyone know of anything in the engine that can cause this? Crank angle sensor? It is not missing teeth on flywheel as the starter does not appear to get power when this happens.
Thanks,
Patrick
